15 Cool and Creative Resumes

Unless you are a desired professional, job hunt is not the kind of activity you would enjoy doing very often. All the searching, sending, phone-calling and trying to simply get noticed by the employer can really wreck your nerves.

The principle “don’t judge a book by its cover” is not widely used here â€" on the contrary, you have to LOOK good and stand out from the others to get the job. And looking good doesn’t only mean putting on a new shirt or a skirt, but most importantly â€" having a solid resume and a cover letter.

Looks like these job-seekers didn’t have problems getting noticed by the employer. Building a creative yet informative resume is a good way to clearly present you personality and skills. And to get noticed, of course. Browse here for inspiration and get creative the next time you’re on the job market.

Blow J0b by Tadao Cern in Leipzig

Blow J0b by Tadao Cern in Leipzig

Remember one of the most impressive blow j0bs you’ve seen, a photo project by a New Yorker decided to step in and help organize the project in several cities. On 28-29 September, Tadao did this in Leipzig, Germany, and we’re excited to share his newest shots.

Tadao first introduced this idea to the public during Vilnius Design Week last May, when the visitors in his studio were placed in front of a leaf blower and photographed with their faces completely out of their own control. The series, combined with a very literal and thus witty name, went viral in only a few days. Tadao was featured not only in multiple online magazines, but also in various international newspapers. Looks like all people need in the end is something that makes them laugh uncontrollably!

Tadao doesn’t seem to be planning on stopping here, and if you’d like him to come to your city, suggest that on his website. In the meantime, the next scheduled destination is Oslo!

World’s Best Father: Dave Engledow with Daughter Alice Bee

World’s Best Father: Dave Engledow with Daughter Alice Bee

Remember Jason Lee and the crazy pictures of his beautiful daughters? Well, it seems that he’s got some serious competition fighting for the World’s Best Father award. Dave Engledow is creating probably the wackiest scrapbook ever showing himself and his daughter Alice Bee in highly precarious situations.

The first picture of him holding Alice Bee like a football and pouring her milk into his coffee was never intended to turn into a series, but the fans on the Internet demanded otherwise after seeing it. The key item in the shot became the “World’s Best Father” mug, bought just last minute before taking the picture. Later the same mug was featured in nearly every shot and gave the name to the series.

When he realized that the pictures were becoming increasingly popular on the Internet, Dave decided to publish a small-run 2012 calender. After it was swept from the stores, he is now set to release a larger run for 2013. His ultimate wish, however, is for his daughter to have something to treasure as years go by.
