The 24 Best Celebrity Name Puns

Recently the Internet has been buzzing with a new meme trend – visual puns, usually poking fun at celebrities’ names. This all started backÂ on September 8th, 2008 when someone uploaded a picture of Reese WitherspoonÂ holding a spoon on the art message board b3ta. A picture next to it showed the actress with the spoon removed, and a caption that read “Reese Withoutaspoon”.

Then almost a year later another celebrity name went viral, this time it was a mirrored image of Kanye West, switching it to Kanye East. However, according to knowyourmeme the phenomena itself didn’t spread till 2012, when a Tumblr user i-am-oregonian posted a pun with Jafar from the 1992 Disney feature film Aladdin. The post received more than 65.000 notes from February till April.

Tunnel Of Love in Ukraine

For those of us who are head over heals in love, here’s a new destination to consider. The Tunnel of Love, located in Ukraine, used to be just another train rail section, but eventually turned into one of the most romantic spots on Earth.

As trees were left to grow freely around the rails, the passing train was the only thing shaping its way through. Eventually, by crossing the Kleven village forest back and forth three times a day, the train shaped a closed tunnel according to it’s size.

Today the Tunnel of Love is highly popular among lovers: it is believed that if two people are sincere in their love and cross the tunnel while holding each other’s hands, their wishes will come true.

Mysterious Underwater Circles Found near Japan

You’ve probably heard a lot of stories about crop circles and aliens, but surprisingly a Japanese photographer Yoji Ookata has found something very similar 80 ft below the sea level. While diving off the coast of Japan, he discovered a mysterious ~6.5 ft wide circle precisely carved from sand. Yoji decided to come back with a TV crew to figure out this strange phenomenon.

The cameras revealed that the culprit was a few-inch long puff fish, creating the sand sculptures by swimming tirelessly and using its single fin. The team figured that this is how the female fish attract the male ones, and the center of the circle is where the pair lays the eggs. The riffles then serve as a protective buffer against ocean currents. In fact, the more riffles a fish makes, the more chances it has to find a pair.

Russian wildlife photographer Nikolai Zinoviev hasÂ probably the coolest job in the world. Imagine yourself following baby bears all day, watching them be goofy and cute. Nikolai Zinoviev spent many days watching them hunt for fish, swim in a lake and walk through forests in Kamchatka and Alaska. As it usually happens, the cubs strike the most funny, cuddly and lovely poses.

Although the bears look fun and friendly it’s a hell of dangerous thing to do. Luckily, his enormous breathtaking wildlife images.
